Weston Super Mare Crematorium

The Weston Super Mare Crematorium & Cemetery in Worle, Somerset was opened by Weston Super Mare Borough Council in 1966 with a view to it providing new burial ground to supplement the old town cemetery in Milton Road. The first burial took place in 1968, and a recent expansion of the site means there is still provision for further burials for several years to come.

Now operated by The CMG, part of Dignity Funeral Services, £2million has been spent on installing a modern cremator to meet the latest environmental standards, extending  the crematorium chapel and improving the waiting room, toilets and its car park.

Weston Crematorium has a Wesley Music System installed which can be used to select and play music and show photographs and film during the service and broadcast live streams worldwide.

Slots of 60 minutes are available for a cremation with a chapel service. Both attended and unattended direct cremations are also available.
