Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, Blackwood

At Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, we have a modern and comfortable chapel, beautifully finished with oak.

The chapel is fitted with a state of the art media system and two large screens, providing live webcasts, visual tributes and an almost unlimited music library to personalise services. Tradition has not been forgotten and the chapel is fitted with a high-quality organ. All forms of live music are welcomed and crematorium staff will be pleased to offer any advice you may need.

Our chapel is able to seat 98 guests, with further standing space available. Speakers are located in the lobby area and outside of the chapel allowing larger services to be catered for.

Our slots are 60 minutes in length, inclusive of 40 minutes service time within the chapel. This ensures that each and every family is able to hold a dignified and personal service.

The floral terrace is set slightly away from the chapel, offering a tranquil area for families and friends to gather following their service. Floral tributes will remain on display for a minimum of two days, unless we receive alternative instructions. There are 75 allocated parking spaces, although further parking may be found within the crematorium grounds.
