Manchester Crematorium

Established in 1892, Manchester Crematorium Ltd is a Grade II listed building which features beautiful brickwork, graceful archways and historic charm.

The dignified and impressive crematorium features two chapels to choose from for your loved one’s funeral service. The Old Chapel has an impressive Basilica-style arched vault with stained-glass windows and can seat up to 120 people.

One of its most outstanding features is its ornate pipe organ which can be played by the in-house organist. The smaller New Chapel can seat approximately 60 people and has its own organ, as well as a digital music system to play more commercial song requests.

Panels, tablets, and niches are available to be displayed on the extensive memorial walls that surround the Gardens of Remembrance.

Memorial rose bushes, and many other floral commemorative items are easily available for a quiet and beautiful spot among the gardens at the Manchester Crematorium.
