Each heart comes in a lovely presentation box with full instructions and kit for ensuring safe transfer of the ashes into the capsule. If you would prefer for us to do this for you we can provide an ashes sealing service at an additional cost. If you choose the sealing service once your order has been placed we will send you a pack with instructions on how to safely send us a small amount of your loved ones ashes to seal inside the capsule.
Keeping the ashes
Many people keep their loved one’s ashes at home, some because they are not sure what to do with them, some because they are not yet ready to do something with them and some simply want to keep them close by, in the house. Sometimes, friends will give advice such as it’s time to move on or you’ll feel better if you scatter/bury them. But only you will know how you feel with the loss of your loved one and only you will know when and if the time is right to do something else with the ashes.
Splitting the ashes
As long as there are no religious reasons it is worthwhile thinking about keeping some of the ashes, they can help to allow other members of the family or friends to satisfy their need to do something with the ashes whilst you get to keep some with you. This will give you more time to decide what you want to do as your feelings may change over time. Until then these urns can keep the ashes safely at home without you having to explain your reasons to anyone, if someone admires the keepsake it is up to you whether you tell them or not.
