Roman Water Urn for Water Burial

These urns are fantastic replicas of Roman Urns from a thousand years ago complete with a seal so that they can be kept on display before you either bury them in the soil or place them in the water. Made of unfired clay. Designed to break down completely in water, a stylish design that is perfect for a water burial.

The length of time they float for will depend on how full the urn is and whether you place or drop it in the water. Once the water fills the urn they will submerge and biodegrade completely.

Perfectly designed for a water burial in the sea, a lake or river, these biodegradable eco-urns are also suitable for land burial, moisture in the soil will help the urn to biodegrade.

Water burials are a very dignified way to conduct a #4thceremony – you can cast petals, put last words on our promises notelets. While the simple water urn floats, you will have enough time to say some final words, prayers or thoughts. Many clients find that the simple presence of a body of water after the ceremony can help them to remember that person.

Finally, it is sensible idea to record where you conducted the ceremony for future generations, if you are on a boat the skipper will be able to tell you your eastings and northings.
